Job summary

Safariland in Carlsbad, NM seeks a Project & Materials Coordinator to oversee project coordination, procurement support, material control, and logistics for customer contracts. You'll manage delivery scheduling, documentation, and communications with customers, while handling MTE programs and equipment maintenance coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in procurement, material control and receiving activities.
• Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for the MgO Contract including delivery scheduling and customer communications.
• M&TE coordination: create purchase requisitions, maintain M&TE database, control all M&TE.
• Review purchase orders for technical and quality compliance before vendors.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across sites.
• Receive, identify and control all materials and parts for EPD.
• Issue material to shop floor via traveler and track usage.
• Serve as Forklift and Crane Trainer for EPD.
• Coordinate all shop floor supplies and tooling.
• Oversee preventive maintenance for shop equipment (air compressor, forklifts, etc.).
• Perform other duties as required.
