Job summary

Ultimate USA, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, is expanding its US presence and seeking a procurement professional to independently manage material and component procurement for customer projects and coordinate logistics across domestic and international transport.

The role involves close collaboration with Project Management, Quality Management, Production, Production Planning, logistics providers and suppliers to optimize BOMs and ERP-based assemblies.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement for projects.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage contracts.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and BOM management.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the procurement of materials and components for customer projects.
• Manage and monitor all project-related procurement and logistics activities, including the coordination of domestic and international transportation.
• Coordinate closely with Project Management, Quality Management, Production, Production Planning, logistics service providers and suppliers.
• Maintain and structure project-specific bills of materials (BOMs) and assemblies within the ERP-system.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers, including price negotiations and supplier contract negotiations.
