Job summary

Ultimate USA Transportation Equipment Inc. in Charlotte, NC is expanding its project management capabilities for railway equipment.

The role focuses on independent project leadership, schedule and budget control, and close coordination with Engineering, Purchasing and Production across locations. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in project management within mechanical/rail sectors, strong leadership and fluent English, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in project management.
• Experience in mechanical engineering, plant engineering or railway vehicle manufacturing preferred.
• Fluent business English with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Independent management and coordination of customer projects.
• Planning, monitoring and coordination of schedules, budgets and project milestones.
• Functional leadership of interdisciplinary project teams and collaboration with Engineering, Purchasing, Production and the Austrian site.
• Support with customer communications, including project meetings and presentations.
• Coordination of change management, approvals, acceptances and type testing.
• Support with quotations, documentation and First Article Inspection (FAI).
