Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead procurement for Turnarounds and Capital Projects at complex chemical facilities across Texas and the Gulf Coast. You will manage sourcing events, drive category strategies, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams.

The role requires deep industry experience, strong project and stakeholder management, and a results-driven approach to schedules, supplier performance, and cost optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years procurement experience, preferably in petrochemical or process manufacturing.
• Experience managing service/contractor and equipment categories, including capital projects and turnaround services.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier management, and compliance.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA, Power BI, Excel; familiarity with Source to Contract software (GEP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Turnaround and Capital Project procurement activities at US petrochemical sites (TX, LA gulf coast).
• Drive category strategies and select suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop negotiation plans, align stakeholders, and lead cross-functional negotiations.
• Coach and develop Strategic Sourcing Specialists/Buyers.
• Drive schedule compliance for services, materials and long-lead equipment.
• Use ERP and SCT software to create/maintain supplier agreements, pricing, and analytics.
