Ultimate Staffing Services is assisting a client in Devens, MA to hire a Purchasing Manager for commercial construction procurement. The role focuses on sourcing HVAC and construction materials, obtaining quotes, and negotiating favorable terms while building strong supplier relationships.

Ideal candidates have experience in purchasing, procurement, construction, HVAC, or estimating and can manage multiple projects with solid communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, construction, HVAC, project coordination, estimating, or a related field.
• Knowledge of construction materials and purchasing processes preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase HVAC, mechanical, and construction-related materials and equipment.
• Obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and secure the best possible value from suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers.
• Coordinate purchasing activities with Project Managers, Estimators, and Operations teams.
• Monitor material lead times and ensure timely delivery to project sites.
• Track purchase orders, deliveries, and vendor performance.
• Assist with forecasting material requirements based on project schedules.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Support project teams by ensuring materials are available when needed.
