Job summary

Temp-Con, Inc. is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to develop and execute strategies for HVAC, piping, and process systems procurement on large mechanical construction projects.

You will oversee sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract administration, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budgets and quality standards. The role requires 7–10+ years in mechanical construction procurement, expertise in ERP systems, and a track record of managing $10M+ projects.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in large mechanical/HVAC/MEP contracting.
• Experience negotiating large-scale purchase agreements and supplier contracts.
• Experience managing procurement for projects valued at $10M+.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical construction materials, equipment, and installation methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage procurement plans aligned with project schedules and budgets.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors for mechanical materials and equipment.
• Oversee purchasing of major equipment and materials and manage long-lead items.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, warranties, and delivery schedules to maximize value and reduce risk.
• Ensure procurement compliance with contracts, safety, quality programs and company policies.
