Job summary

Nooks is seeking a remote Procurement Lead to own end-to-end procurement from intake to renewal across SaaS, AI, and infrastructure. You’ll drive vendor negotiations, pricing benchmarks, and strategic savings with Budget Owners and cross-functional leaders.

This high-visibility role reports to the VP Finance and focuses on process optimization, tool evaluation, and building a transparent spend forecast across the company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in procurement or vendor management in a high-growth tech/SaaS environment.
• Proven track record negotiating SaaS and services contracts.
• Experience designing and optimizing procurement policies, processes, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret commercial contracts and order forms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to influence budgets.
• Experience with AI tools in Finance or Operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with procurement and spend management platforms.
• Remote work capability and independence.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the procurement process from intake to approvals.
• Lead vendor management and manage the renewal calendar and vendor assessments.
• Partner with budget owners to negotiate contracts across SaaS, AI, infra, and data products.
• Make procurement processes transparent and streamlined for reviews and bottleneck relief.
• Build spend visibility, forecast vendor expenses, and report to leadership.
• Evaluate existing procurement tools and leverage AI to improve the stack.
• Be the knowledge base on vendor relationships, usage, and ROI.
