Job summary

Rexel USA in Norcross, GA is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the Mayer Team. You will manage replenishment, review stock levels, and coordinate with vendors to improve in-stock fill rates across Branch/Customer Solution Centers.

This role focuses on expediting POs, controlling costs, and optimizing inventory turns while collaborating with system planners and supplier representatives to maximize margins.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional purchasing/buying experience in the Electrical Distribution Industry.
• High School or GED - Required
• 4 Year / Bachelor’s Degree - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock procurement/replenishment for assigned Branch/CSS Centers and/or supplier lines.
• Daily review of items below minimum, allocations, or stock outs.
• Expedite open POs and manage vendor costs, quantity and defects.
• Work with planner to ensure replenishment data accuracy (lead-time, forecasting, packaging).
• Assist with supplier reviews and non-conformity receipt issues.
• Maximize gross margins via supplier leverage and special buys.
• Other duties as assigned.
