Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Finance Manager, Procurement, to lead the planning and analysis for Procurement R&D and Operations. You will partner with procurement and business leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, and scenarios, and provide meaningful variance analyses to senior leaders.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, Excel proficiency, and experience delivering dashboards and finance optimizations. A CPA or MBA is preferred, with 7+ years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7+ years progressive experience in finance or procurement.
• Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in GAAP and financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual, long-range, and latest business estimate planning processes.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and scenarios with procurement leaders.
• Provide variance analyses and monthly management reports.
• Support monthly close and financial reporting to procurement leadership.
• Lead projects like Power BI dashboards, automation, and AI initiatives.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses.
