Department of Marine Resources seeks a Management Analyst I (Procurement Coordinator) for a limited period in Augusta. You will work in a team setting, using independent judgment on procurement, billing and travel matters, with high accuracy and attention to detail.

The role requires knowledge of GAAP and GASB, strong accounting skills, and the ability to organize data and reports. Remote work is possible with management approval.

Qualifications

• GAAP, GASB, and agency accounting systems knowledge.
• Bookkeeping principles and practices proficiency.
• Ability to verify, code, compute, and reconcile data.
• Ability to prepare accurate accounting and financial reports.
• Organize and maintain computerized/manual files.
• Demonstrates initiative and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review and entry of Procurement documents into Advantage.
• Act as liaison between Procurement Services and program staff.
• Coordinate with team to resolve funding issues.
• Review procurement card invoices and perform billing audits.
• Support review and processing of travel-related documents.
