Job summary

The Department of Marine Resources in Augusta, ME seeks a Management Analyst I (Limited Period) to handle procurement, billing, and travel tasks with accuracy and discretion.

The successful candidate will review financial documents, coordinate with staff, and maintain GAAP/GASB standards; experience in general ledger and reconciliation is expected, along with strong Excel/Word skills. Remote work options are available with management approval.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP and GASB principles.
• Ability to verify, code, compute, and reconcile data with accuracy.
• Experience with general ledger and reconciliation methods.
• Ability to prepare accounting reports and statements.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and entry of Procurement documents into Advantage.
• Liaise between Procurement Services and program staff.
• Coordinate with team members to resolve funding issues.
• Review procurement card invoices and perform billing audits.
• Provide support for the review and processing of travel-related documents.
