Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Procurement Analyst Expeditor to join our Strategic Acquisitions organization. This role focuses on expediting orders, tracking deliveries, researching suppliers, and identifying alternate parts opportunities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 1+ years of related experience, strong Excel (Pivot) skills, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Location is Sterling, VA with a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel for reporting and Pivot creation.
• US citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Extract reports from the procurement system and identify upcoming deliveries.
• Track upcoming deliveries with suppliers and identify orders at risk of being late.
• Update the procurement system with shipping updates from suppliers.
• Research potential new suppliers for partnerships.
• Review high risk or long lead time parts for potential alternate parts.
• Perform other administrative tasks as required by the manager.
