Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Procurement Analyst Expeditor to join our Strategic Acquisitions organization. This role focuses on expediting orders, tracking deliveries, researching suppliers, and identifying alternate parts opportunities.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, 1+ years of related experience, strong Excel (Pivot) skills, and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Location is Sterling, VA with a hybrid work schedule.

• Review high risk or long lead time parts for potential alternate parts.
• Perform other administrative tasks as required by the manager.

GDIT is seeking a Procurement Analyst Expeditor to join our team as part of our Strategic Acquisitions organization. This Procurement Analyst Expeditor will be responsible for collaborating with the team and our suppliers on expediting orders, tracking upcoming deliveries, identifying potential new suppliers, and identifying alternate parts opportunities.

As a Procurement Analyst Expeditor, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission.

• Extract reports from the procurement system and identify upcoming deliveries

• Track upcoming deliveries with suppliers and identify orders that are at risk of being late

• Update the procurement system with any shipping updates provided by the suppliers

• Research potential new suppliers that could be considered for a new partnership

• Review high risk or long lead time parts and work with the program and supplier base to determine potential alternate parts for consideration

• Other administrative tasks that may be required by the manager

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

Bring your supply chain and logistics expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Procurement Analyst Expeditor must have:

• Education: Bachelor's degree required
• Experience: 1+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: Comfortable and experience in using Excel for reporting and PIVOT creation
• Security clearance level: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance after hired
• US citizenship required
