Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Logistics Analyst Principal to lead procurement operations within the PMO at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will own end-to-end procurement lifecycle, drive process improvements, and coordinate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Government stakeholders to ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and program requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced defense

Qualifications

• Eight years or more of procurement/logistics/contract operations experience.
• Experience leading procurement operations for Department of War programs.
• Experience creating procurement processes and driving operational improvements.
• Ability to integrate procurement activities across multiple functions.
• Experience leading projects end-to-end from planning to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Leads procurement operations supporting worldwide logistics across customer locations.
• Owns end-to-end procurement lifecycle from request to closeout and reconciliation.
• Develops standardized procurement processes and SOPs to improve efficiency.
• Drives continuous improvement to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
• Mentors procurement staff and builds cross-functional collaboration within the PMO.
