Job summary

Uplift People Consulting in Barcelona, Spain is hiring a Purchase Executive to support procurement operations for manufacturing. You will help ensure timely, cost-effective sourcing of materials and services, maintain supplier relationships, and support inventory planning.

The role collaborates with manufacturing and quality teams to meet standards, using ERP tools and adhering to internal policies. Fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Masters/MBA or related field is an advantage.
• 2–3 years in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Basic procurement and inventory management knowledge.
• ERP systems and procurement tools familiarity is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent English and Spanish required.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement strategies aligned with objectives.
• Identify and evaluate suppliers for materials and services.
• Review drawings and specs to source correctly.
• Process PO's, track deliveries, and receipts.
• Maintain procurement records and inventory monitoring.
• Assist cost management with quotations and negotiations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Prepare procurement reports and supplier performance docs.
• Use ERP for order management and reporting.
