Vallen is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to work at a customer location, delivering exceptional service by purchasing products that meet our standards for price, quality, timing, and supply reliability.

Responsibilities include procurement activities to fulfill current and anticipated demand, placing requisitions and vendor POs, evaluating suppliers, and ensuring on-time delivery and quality, while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
• Ability to learn ERP and Inventory Management systems.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Procure products to meet current and anticipated demand per purchasing strategy.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Evaluate vendors and items to meet quality, price and delivery standards.
• Monitor delivery timeliness and product quality; coordinate returns if needed.
• Maintain supplier relationships and resolve PO/payables issues.
• Identify cost savings opportunities for customers and follow SOPs.
