Job summary

The Nearview Group is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator in Oklahoma City to support buying activities between Estimating and Project Management. You will source plant materials and project supplies, issue purchase orders, and track deliveries to help profitability.

Ideal candidates have purchasing experience, strong organizational skills, and an interest in nursery sourcing and landscape materials. Field visits to nurseries may be required seasonally.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply chain coordination.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple orders, vendors, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintaining accurate purchasing records.
• Familiarity with plant species, nursery operations, or landscape materials is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Request, collect, and compare vendor quotes for plant materials and supplies.
• Verify availability, sizes, pricing, and lead times before estimates are finalized.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders; negotiate terms and delivery schedules.
• Track orders and inventory; maintain purchasing records.
• Monitor savings and variances against project estimates; coordinate with Estimating and PMs.
