Astound is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator I to support day-to-day procurement activities, create and maintain purchase orders, and coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate data. You will partner with Finance, Accounts Payable, Inventory, and warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies, track orders, and support timely, compliant procurement.

Formación

• 1-2 years of purchasing, procurement operations, inventory support, or related business operations preferred.
• Experience using Excel and purchasing, inventory, ERP, or reporting systems is preferred.
• Ability to follow purchasing policies, approval workflows, and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Inventory, and Suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Create, update, and maintain purchase orders in line with procedures.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to confirm requirements, quantities, delivery needs, and approvals.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to support timely order processing.
• Monitor open requests, orders, and discrepancies; provide timely status updates.
• Research items, pricing, and documentation to resolve routine purchasing issues.
• Assist with item creation, vendor documentation, and inventory system updates.
• Support purchasing run rates, reorder points, and pricing communications.
• Research invoice discrepancies with Accounts Payable and suppliers.
• Provide process answers and back-up support during peak periods.
• Cross-train for vacation coverage and other needs.
