Job summary

Astound is hiring a Purchasing Coordinator I to support day-to-day procurement by creating and maintaining purchase orders, coordinating with vendors, and tracking order status. You will work with Finance, AP, Inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate data and compliant procurement.

Required are 1–2 years in purchasing or related operations, strong Excel/ERP skills, and attention to detail. Competitive benefits are offered with a base salary of $21–$26 per hour for a full-time role in

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of purchasing or procurement operations experience preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and purchasing, inventory, ERP, or reporting systems is preferred.
• Ability to follow purchasing policies, approval workflows, and internal controls while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain purchase orders per procedures.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders for requirements, quantities, delivery needs, and approvals.
• Communicate with suppliers, warehouse, Finance, AP, Inventory, and operations to support timely order processing.
• Monitor open requests, POs, deliveries, and documentation; provide status updates and follow-up.
• Research items, vendors, pricing, inventory, and documentation to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with item creation, maintenance, vendor documentation, and ERP updates.
• Support purchasing run rates, reorder points, pricing communications, reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Provide purchasing process support and resolve routine order issues.
• Cross-train to provide backup during peak periods.
