Job summary

SAC Incorporated in Ogden, UT is seeking a motivated Procurement Coordinator to support a fast-paced fabrication environment. This role focuses on purchasing, material coordination, and ensuring accurate documentation and on-time delivery for complex construction projects.

You will assemble drawings, create material takeoffs, track deliverables, coordinate with fabrication and purchasing, and maintain certifications and mill test reports, using CRM, Clickup, Egnyte and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a production or construction environment is preferred.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Interest in learning about the construction industry, to include terminology & contract drawings.
• Strong communication skills at all levels of the organization.
• Problem-solving & critical thinking skills, along with the confidence to make decisions independently.
• Must possess the following skills: organization, time-management, detail-oriented mindset and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, track, and communicate updates to Engineering drawings
• Creation of material takeoffs, material breakdowns and other documentation for the procurement process
• Monitor progress of deliverables to be sure we are on track to meet client expectations
• Coordinate with fabrication and purchasing on status of material shipments
• Maintain all documentation related to material certifications, packing lists and mill test reports
• Work in various software systems, including but not limited to: CRM, Clickup, Egnyte & Microsoft Office
