Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an assistant in Procurement to confirm purchase orders, process invoices, and prepare drop ships. You will interact with customers, vendors and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate handling of orders.

The role supports Merchandising, Procurement and Logistics teams and involves routine duties and special orders, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced foodservice environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
• 6-12 months procurement, warehouse, or administrative experience in related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Procurement personnel with confirming all purchase orders and invoicing customers.
• Process drop ships and prepare orders for direct shipment to customers.
• Assist in pricing and sourcing products based on merchandising knowledge.
• Communicate with customers, vendors and internal teams in a friendly, timely manner.
• Interface with Merchandising, Procurement and Logistics staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
