You will partner with procurement analysts and travel vendors, coordinate group travel, and reconcile expenses across multiple payment methods.
The role also covers assisting with other procurement tasks, including GBs orders, reception, mail room, and special projects as needed.

The primary role of the Procurement Coordinator is to focus on the travel and/or expense spend categories. The secondary is to work on procurement activities.
Travel responsibilities include coordinating individual and group travel, such as banquets, off-site meetings, Caterpillar tours, Con Expo, etc., for the organization’s employees and reconciling these expenses. The coordinator works strategically with our procurement analysts and travel vendors - TMC, hotels, and venues- to negotiate pricing and manage the ongoing business relationships. Additionally, the coordinator is responsible for reconciling all travel transactions with the various methods of payment – P-card, virtual cards, and direct invoicing.
Expense responsibilities include employee expense audit, analysis, processing, review, approval, and audit of corporate P cards, administration of the vehicle reimbursement program, and Motus for compliance with policy.
Assistance with other procurement activities, including GBS orders, reception, mail room, projects, etc.
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard, and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
