Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking a Contract Administrator II to manage the end-to-end procurement process for IFBs and RFQs. You will serve as a subject matter expert, directing solicitations from receipt to award, administration, and close-out, and advising internal customers on policies and contract interpretation.

• Knowledge of Government procurement, contract preparation, and administration.
• Knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws, ordinances and regulations.
• Knowledge of various contract types and solicitations and agreements.
• Ability to conduct negotiations for change orders and claims and to provide guidance to stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Performs the full contract life cycle from proposal to close-out on all assigned contracts.
• Plans the procurement process from request through solicitation, negotiation, award, administration and close-out.
• Conducts the award process including documentation, bids/proposals, evaluation, and award documentation for approval.
• Advises customers on policies, contract interpretation and pricing considerations.
