Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator II to manage procurements end-to-end, from requests for procurement through contract close-out. The role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to work with internal customers and external suppliers.

The incumbent will oversee standard procurements, support source selection, and may exercise limited contracting officer authority up to $250K.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; or GED with additional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and administering RFPs/ RFQs and contracts.
• Certification from NCMA, CPCM, NIGP, FAI, DAU or DAWIA within 2 years of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee full contract life cycle from proposal to close-out for assigned procurements.
• Lead negotiations and determine contract type for specified efforts.
• Coordinate with legal and internal customers to ensure compliance and clarity.
• Provide mentorship to junior Contract Administrators and ensure policy adherence.
