Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) seeks a Contract Administrator II to manage full procurement cycles for a variety of contracts, from RFIs through close-out. You will advise customers on policy and contract interpretation, negotiate changes, and lead bids and awards with senior staff guidance.

The role requires a deep understanding of government procurement, five years of related experience, and ability to mentor junior staff.

Formación

• Knowledge of government procurement principles and contract administration.
• Five (5) years of experience in developing and administering RFPs/quotations, specifications, scope of work, and different types of contracts and agreements.
• Certification from NCMA/CPCM or NIGP/FAI/DAU/DAWIA must be obtained within two years of hire date.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Lead full contract life cycle from proposal to close-out.
• Plan the entire procurement process from request to award and close-out.
• Coordinate award process including documentation, bids/proposals, evaluation, and approval.
• Advise customers on policies, contract interpretation and price development.
• Mentor junior Contract Administrators in procurement actions and activities.
• Conduct negotiations for change orders and claims with contractors.
