Qualifications

  • High school diploma and/or bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field.
  • At least one year of experience in related field roles.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct vendor research, setup, and manage relationships to ensure vendor quality and procurement needs.
  • Evaluate and analyze supplier offers to ensure best value for the company.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and foster long-term relationships.
  • Generate purchase orders in line with company policies.
  • Monitor order statuses to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Inspect goods quality against company standards.
  • Maintain meticulous purchase records with product and invoice details.
  • Allocate purchase costs to project phases in the accounting software.
  • Utilize MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related software to track and report procurement activities.
  • Operate office equipment and technology safely and efficiently.
  • Identify and report safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Maintain professionalism in all vendor/customer interactions.
  • Complete required certifications/training as requested.

Role

This position is responsible for purchasing activities following in-house Company and client specifications, including evaluating vendors, sourcing products, and negotiating prices. Monitors all orders until received and verified.

  • Utilize MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other software programs efficiently to track and report on procurement activities.
  • Operate various office technologies, including Windows 10 PCs, scanners, printers, smartphones, tablets, and other devices.
  • Promptly identify and report any safety hazards to the supervisor, contributing to a safe work environment.
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers and vendors.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and complete required certifications/training as requested by the company or clients.
