  • Maintain detailed purchase records including product, delivery, and invoicing data.
  • Assign costs to projects in accounting software.
  • Utilize MS Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related programs to track procurement activity.
  • Operate typical office devices and IT equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Report safety hazards to supervisor and uphold a safe work environment.
  • Maintain professionalism with customers and vendors; adhere to policies and training requirements.

Prequalification's

High school diploma and/or bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field and/or one year experience in related field roles.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledgeable in generally accepted accounting principles and capable of applying them accurately.

Role

This position is responsible for purchasing activities following in-house Company and client specifications, including evaluating vendors, sourcing products, and negotiating prices. Monitors all orders until received and verified.

  • Accurately assign purchase costs to the appropriate project phases within the company's accounting software.
  • Utilize MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other software programs efficiently to track and report on procurement activities.
  • Operate various office technologies, including Windows 10 PCs, scanners, printers, smartphones, tablets, and other devices.
  • Promptly identify and report any safety hazards to the supervisor, contributing to a safe work environment.
  • Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions with customers and vendors.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures and complete required certifications/training as requested by the company or clients.
