Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Buyer I to support procurement of materials, equipment, and services for manufacturing and operations. You will process purchase requisitions and purchase orders, review supplier quotes, and monitor delivery schedules to support production timelines.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and experience with ERP systems, PLM tools, and strong negotiation, communication, and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field, or equivalent.
• Experience with procurement and electronics components a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and PLM tools.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders per procedures.
• Review supplier quotes, schedules, and inventories to support objectives.
• Monitor PO status and coordinate with suppliers to resolve issues.
• Support supplier performance reviews and procurement metrics.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, operations, and finance.
