Job description

The Position

A global manufacturing company is seeking a procurement attorney to support high-volume contracting for direct materials used in industrial production. This role focuses on negotiating and managing agreements for raw materials and physical components such as metals, wiring, and other essential inputs; this is not a software or indirect procurement role.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience drafting and negotiating master purchasing agreements, a solid understanding of supply chain concepts, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The client is particularly interested in candidates with hand-on experience supporting manufacturing operations and physical products, who have worked closely with procurement and supply chain teams and understand the practical considerations involved in sourcing materials and components used in production. They are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys and is passionate about this type of manufacturing and supply chain work. Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial companies is strongly preferred.

This project starts ASAP, is expected to last 6 months with potential to extend and/or convert to a FTE, is fully remote, and requires 20-40 hours per week. The client has a preference for candidates based in TX, but not a requirement.

The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $110and $115. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset, and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law.
