A technology company is seeking a senior commercial attorney to provide critical coverage for its customer contracting function. This attorney will take significant ownership of the customer contract lifecycle, including intake, drafting and redlining, direct customer negotiations, live negotiation calls, and managing agreements through execution. The ideal candidate brings deep, recent sell-side SaaScommercial experience and has represented the technology provider/seller in customer-facing SaaS transactions. This role requires someone who has genuinely owned SaaS customer agreements from start to finish and can independently handle standard and strategic deals while knowing when to escalation the largest or most complex matters. The attorney will work closely with a fast-paced sales organization and partner with internal stakeholders as needed. The workload has a meaningful month-end cycle, so candidates must be comfortable with periods of significant deal activity and urgency. While 40 hours/week is the baseline, month-end periods may require 50+ hours, extended days, and occasional weekend coverage to support deal closings.
This project starts December 1, 2026, is at least 4 months with potential to extend to approximately 7 months, is remote with West Coast preferred, and requires 40 hours/week with potential for 50+ hours and extended coverage during month-end periods.
