Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Storeroom Clerk to receive, organize and maintain parts and materials for a busy plant. You will support maintenance and plant teams by pulling, checking out, palletizing, and distributing parts, while keeping accurate inventory records.

SAP will be used for basic storeroom transactions and receipt processing. The role requires basic computer skills, familiarity with SAP or similar systems, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to thrive in a

Qualifications

• Mechanical or maintenance knowledge with the ability to identify and understand common parts and equipment preferred.
• Previous experience in a plant, industrial, warehouse, storeroom, or parts environment is beneficial but not required.
• Basic computer skills; SAP or similar inventory management system experience is preferred but can be trained.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to learn, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to assist maintenance and other plant employees as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive, check in, organize, and maintain parts and materials within the plant storeroom, including completing goods receipts.
• Pull, check out, palletize, and distribute parts and equipment needed by the maintenance and plant teams.
• Maintain accurate inventory and transaction records while helping ensure parts are properly stored and readily available when needed.
• Use SAP to complete basic storeroom transactions, including receiving materials and tracking parts moving in and out of inventory.
• Work closely with maintenance and other plant employees to support daily operational needs while maintaining an organized and efficient storeroom.
