Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician in Ithaca, NY to inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on mechanical systems like conveyors, crushers and pumps, diagnosing issues, and implementing corrective actions to reduce downtime while adhering to safety standards. Team-based collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair industrial equipment.
• Experience with conveyors, crushers and pumps preferred.
• Ability to read technical documents and schematics.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
