Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in New York is seeking a skilled mechanical technician to perform maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, ensuring safe, reliable operation and optimal performance across production lines.

You will inspect and troubleshoot, install, align, and maintain conveyors, crushers, and rotating machinery; collaborate with a diverse team to complete planned and unplanned maintenance efficiently; and uphold a strong safety-first culture in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capability in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to safe work practices.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
