EMG International, LLC is seeking a Procurement & Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the purchasing process from request to payment. You will coordinate POs, onboarding, invoicing, coding, and AP workflows to ensure accurate documentation and efficient processing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable, purchasing, procurement, project accounting support, operations, or a similar role.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on outstanding items.
• Comfortable learning new software and processes quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Understanding of basic accounting concepts and transaction coding.
• Ability to understand the business purpose of purchases and accurately code transactions to the appropriate expense, asset, project, or cost category.

Responsibilities

• Create, review, and manage purchase orders in Ramp.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding, including collecting W-9s, ACH info, insurance certificates, and other docs.
• Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve setup issues.
• Assign proper accounting/project coding to POs and invoices.
• Track receipts and open purchase orders status.
• Review vendor invoices for accuracy and match to POs and receipts.
• Route invoices through approvals and prepare for payment.
• Follow up for missing information, receipts, or documentation.
• Monitor open commitments and align purchases with budgets and projects.
• Collaborate with management and external accounting team for proper documentation and coding.
• Help improve purchasing, AP, and vendor management processes as the company grows.
