Job summary

Amentum in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Procurement Support Specialist II to support government purchasing activities and requisition processing in the Las Vegas area.

This mid-level role emphasizes independent work, problem solving, and collaboration with stakeholders to meet team and organizational goals, while ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS policies and delivery schedules.

Travel to remote locations may be required; active Top-Secret clearance is strongly preferred at time of application.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of experience in subcontracts, procurement, supply chain or related field.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and ability to operate a government vehicle.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance; active TS clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and process purchase requisitions.
• Provide procurement information and status to requesters.
• Ensure requisitions follow FAR/DFARS and base procedures.
• Assist in procurement reports.
• Communicate with suppliers, obtain bids, and prepare admin forms.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
• Support procurement strategy and supplier development.
• Monitor performance against procurement goals and assist in improvements.
• Assist warehouse with re-supply requisitions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
