Job summary

Saalex Corporation is seeking a Procurement Analyst II for Tidewater, VA and San Diego, CA. This contingent role supports IT and engineering asset procurement, vendor coordination, and lifecycle procurement in a DoD/Navy-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in procurement and a bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, with familiarity in SAP or Deltek and knowledge of FAR/ DoD policies. Security clearance eligibility preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, acquisition, supply chain, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field (or equivalent).
• Experience with procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Deltek, or similar platforms).
• Knowledge of FAR or DoD procurement policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities including requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor coordination for IT and engineering assets.
• Support acquisition planning and ensure alignment with program requirements and funding constraints.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Track procurement status, deliveries, and discrepancies using procurement or asset management systems.
• Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, and program procurement policies and procedures.
• Maintain procurement documentation including contracts, purchase records, and audit trails.
• Support lifecycle procurement activities including technology refresh, upgrades, and sustainment.
• Assist with cost analysis, budgeting support, and procurement reporting.
• Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews related to procurement activities.
• Other duties as assigned or required.
