Amentum is seeking a Procurement Support Specialist 2 for the Las Vegas, NV area. The role involves working with government representatives and technicians to manage purchase requisitions, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, and support supplier performance.

The position requires at least two years in procurement or related fields, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance. Travel to remote locations and operating a government vehicle are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of experience in subcontracts, procurement, or supply chain.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance; active clearance preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a government vehicle.
• Willingness to travel to remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Review and process purchase requisitions.
• Provide requester with procurement actions and status.
• Ensure requisitions follow FAR/DFARS and agency rules.
• Prepare procurement centered reports.
• Negotiate with suppliers on damages, returns, and cancellations.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.
• Support procurement strategy and supplier development.
• Assist warehouse with re-supply requisitions.
• Interact with government representatives and technicians.
