Job summary

Afognak Native Corporation seeks a Procurement Specialist II to own the full procurement lifecycle, ensuring adherence to FAR, FAM, AIM policies, and DSSR guidance. You will evaluate vendors on cost, quality, reliability, and support, and contract products using the most cost-effective methods.

You will lead a small team, develop training, and deliver monthly reporting on SLA compliance and spend while coordinating with stakeholders to meet budget and schedule requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better with 5–8 years in corporate or government procurement.
• Associates degree or above with 3–5 years in procurement preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end procurement process and procurement packages.
• Develop and manage training for staff on end-to-end procurement procedures.
• Serve as the main POC for procurement reporting including SLA compliance and spend.
• Apply standardized procurement strategies in accordance with FAR and regulations.
• Identify cost-effective suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
• Process orders and coordinate with stakeholders on requirements.
• Maintain documentation, records, and procurement activity in systems.
