3M HEALTHCARE is seeking a Procurement Analyst to oversee the purchase of general material and construction supplies. The role emphasizes reviewing requisitions, releasing materials from blanket POs, obtaining vendor quotations, and processing purchases to support field production.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma and at least 2 years in purchasing within the electrical sector, plus strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years in purchasing or a related field in the electrical industry.
• Combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Review field requisitions for completeness and accuracy; confer with requester when clarification is needed.
• Release material from pre-negotiated blanket purchase orders; track released quantities.
• Secure vendor quotations on requisitions and process requisitions for purchase.
• Prepare bid invitations for RFQ/RFP and level vendor quotations.
• Assist in generating submittal information; identify needs with requesting departments.
• Issue change orders as required per revised BOMs.
• Expedite deliveries and manage back-orders to maintain production.
• Handle returns for timely credits to the project.
• Review invoices and interface with A/P to resolve issues.
• Perform other duties as directed by Senior Purchasing Agent or Division Manager.
