Job summary

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with one of our clients, is seeking a skilled Procurement Administrator to coordinate procurement activities, maintain procurement systems, and support contract compliance and vendor management.

You will process procurement requisitions, assist with sourcing events under $25K, manage contract routing, and help ensure policy compliance and efficient operations within the procurement team.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in procurement, contracting, or a related field.
• Knowledge of procurement policies, processes, and compliance practices.
• Experience processing procurement requisitions and supporting sourcing events.
• Familiarity with contract administration and vendor management.
• Ability to manage procurement systems and maintain accurate records.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with P-Card reconciliation and compliance monitoring.
• Knowledge of contract law and legal review processes.
• Prior experience supporting policy or process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Process procurement requisitions in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Assist with sourcing activities, including issuing Invitations to Bid, RFPs, and RFQs for purchases under $25K
• Coordinate contract and amendment routing, ensuring all documentation is complete and obtained prior to execution
• Respond to internal and supplier inquiries, providing guidance on procurement policies and procedures
• Support contract compliance monitoring and vendor performance assessments
• Assist with P-Card program administration, including reconciliation and compliance checks
• Maintain and update procurement resources, templates, and internal guidance materials
• Contribute to special procurement projects, process improvements, and department operations
