Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Pay Rate: Up to $54.00/hour

Take the next step in your supply chain career! We are seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer for an assignment supporting complex purchasing, sourcing, and supplier management activities. Job Duties

• Analyze material requirements using Oracle and MRP systems
• Prepare RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs for supplier sourcing
• Conduct cost and price analysis of supplier proposals
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• Create, manage, and administer purchase orders
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate source selection and supplier evaluations
• Resolve supplier quality, design, and payment issues
• Support procurement compliance and documentation requirements
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet program objectives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations
• Knowledge of Oracle, MRP systems, and procurement processes
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Occasional domestic and possible international travel
