Job summary

FST Technical Services is seeking a Construction Document Control Specialist to support a major industrial project in Childress, Texas. The role requires experience managing project documentation, revision control, and submittals, with a preference for Procore expertise.

On-site work in Childress is expected on a long-term assignment. You will maintain logs, track status and distribution, and coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, and management teams to ensure access to the latest drawings and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Document Control experience in construction/industrial environments.
• Experience with Procore strongly preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills including Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain project documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Control distribution and revision of drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and reports.
• Maintain accurate document logs and electronic project files.
• Ensure teams use current approved drawings and documents.
• Track status, revisions, approvals, and outstanding items.
• Coordinate document flow between contractors, engineering, PM, QA/QC, and stakeholders.
• Perform document quality checks for accuracy and completeness.
• Utilize Procore or other DMS to manage documents.
