Description

POSITION: Supply, price, ticket, and sort merchandise, assist with loading/unloading, and maintain safety and quality standards.

• Supply product to be priced and ticketed.
• Price and coordinate processing of wares.
• Sort footwear into categories and maintain flow of goods.
• Test electrical/mechanical items for sale.
• Assist truck driver with loading and unloading materials.

FUNCTION:

• Supply product for production and keep inventory organized.
• Price, ticket, package, and ensure production quotas are met.
• Maintain quality and material control.
• Perform housekeeping and adhere to safety standards.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Perform production activities as assigned.
• Control quality and materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Organize and price merchandise clearly.
• Sort and process seasonal items, toys, glassware, etc.
• Recognize saleable and salvage items.
• Test electrical/mechanical items and discard if necessary.
• Assist with shipping and storage of items.
• Help with loading/unloading and transporting items within the store.
• Stand, reach, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks as required.

RELATIONS:

Coordinate with Lead Processor or Store Manager and assist coworkers.

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

• Meet quality, quantity, and timeliness standards.
• Maintain professional conduct and appearance.
