Job summary

General Mills Kansas City is hiring a Processing Technician with starting pay $26.72/hour plus $0.55/hour shift differential. The role involves supporting milling operations, sanitation, and maintenance in a 24/7 plant.

You'll rotate 1st/3rd/2nd shifts on a 4-week cycle, with overtime and holidays as needed, and opportunities for career growth, cross-training, and company benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of mechanical/technical manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts in a 24/7 plant.

Responsibilities

• Provide process system support and operate milling equipment.
• Perform sanitation and cleaning of processing areas.
• Conduct start-up/shutdown of Wheat mills A/B/C.
• Assist maintenance with preventative and reactive tasks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist training of new employees.
• Support other plant areas as needed.
