Job summary

General Mills in Joplin, MO is hiring a Production Operator. Starting pay is $21.30 per hour. Shifts available include 2nd, 3rd, and 12-hour rotations, with 2nd 2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm; 3rd 10pm-6am or 11pm-7am; 12-hour shifts 15-16 days per month.

Qualifications

• 3+ years manufacturing/production experience.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging and processing operations.
• Troubleshoot machinery with maintenance staff.
• Calibrate processing and packaging systems daily.
• Participate in equipment startup, changeovers, and shutdowns.
• Perform quality and safety checks.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and areas.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Support other plant areas as assigned.
