  • Must have high school diploma or GED.
  • Able to read, understand, and follow complex work instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience operating plant equipment and industrial vehicles.
  • Physically capable of tasks including standing, bending, lifting up to 44 lbs.
  • Able to wear respirator safety gear.
  • Strong computer proficiency with MS Office; quick to learn production software.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret PMI/JSAs and production schedules to execute daily tasks safely and efficiently.
  • Support and participate in safety initiatives and policies as needed.
  • Follow turnover reports and instructions while balancing multiple tasks.
  • Perform batch chemistry math across various units of measure.
  • Operate and maintain large-scale powder production equipment safely and in compliance with procedures.
  • Complete minor to moderate machine adjustments and repairs using mechanical skills.

What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will exhibit strong proficiency in interpreting and following Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMIs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and production schedules to effectively execute daily tasks, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards
  • Further you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies as business needs arise
  • You will follow step by step instructions detailed by senior operators in turnover reports, written job instructions, or verbal instructions and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
  • You must demonstrate strong batch chemistry math skills, including the ability to accurately perform calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and weight percentage conversions across various units of measure
  • Further, you will work in a challenging environment that is typically temperature controlled in areas required but often can be hot, dirty, dusty, and humid, while wearing a respirator, flame-resistant (FR) clothing, and appropriate safety gear, in a setting that can be noisy and demands strict adherence to safety and quality protocols
  • You will be responsible for operating and maintaining large-scale powder production equipment, including atomizers, spray dryers, power cabinets, blenders, screeners, forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes, and pallet jacks, while working with high-pressure gases, induction-powered furnaces, and high-vacuum equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation in compliance with company procedures and safety standards
  • Also you will complete minor to moderate machine adjustments and maintenance repairs as needed by utilizing your mechanical skillset

  • Experience operating plant equipment and industrial vehicles
  • You must be physically capable of performing tasks that involve frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, as well as occasional stooping, crouching, climbing, and lifting up to 44 lbs
  • The ability to safely wear and work while using a full-face or half-face respirator is required
  • Strong computer proficiency is required, including demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), as well as the ability to quickly learn and navigate production-specific software and systems
  • Ability to train on 1st shift for as needed for designated period of time
