Job summary

Real Alloy is the market leader in third-party aluminum recycling and specification alloy production, with facilities across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. The Processing and Receiving Manager will lead the Wabash, Indiana facility, directing processing and receiving operations while advancing safety, production schedules, and staffing plans.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing operations and 3+ years in management, with a proven track record in continuous improvement and ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing operations role.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience.
• Experience driving continuous improvement in manufacturing.
• Union experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of processing and receiving supervisors.
• Manage 24/7 operations scheduling for the Processing Department.
• Develop and manage continuous improvement programs for the Processing and Receiving departments.
• Ensure processes and procedures support ISO 9001 certification.
• Coordinate with metals purchasing and production for timely material delivery.
• Schedule dross shipment and recovery with Recycle division.
• Oversee scale personnel.
• Ensure accuracy of raw material inventory and shipment of landfill shredder dust shipments.
