Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Processing Operator for the Day Shift (7:00am-7:00pm) at our facility in New York. You will start/stop stretch blow molding machines, inspect and pack PET containers, perform routine machine checks, and help maintain GMP and SQF compliance while contributing to a safe production environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have excellent attendance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have knowledge of product identification and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop stretch blow-molding machines to produce containers.
• Perform inspections, cleaning and lubrication of machine assemblies.
• Pack containers into boxes/cartons at production speeds.
• Safely operate lift trucks to move materials.
• Adhere to GMP and SQF compliance and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
