Job summary

Amcor is seeking Processing Operators for day shift on a rotating schedule. You will operate stretch blow-mottling machines, inspect containers, and perform routine preventive maintenance. The role includes lifting up to 50 pounds, forklift operation, and adherence to GMP/SQF and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have excellent attendance.
• Must have good housekeeping skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Fork-lift experience.
• Must be able to perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.
• Able to work in a production environment, recognizing various sounds and alarms.
• Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop stretch blow-molding machines to produce quality containers.
• Perform routine inspections, cleaning & lubrication and/or tightening of machine assemblies.
• Perform container inspections using test equipment, statistical quality methods & visual inspection techniques.
• Pack containers into boxes/cartons at designated production-line speeds and stack to form 4 ft high units.
• Safely operate lift trucks to move materials.
• Maintain GMP and SQF compliance requirements and food safety standards.
• Change materials, assist in changeovers and identify start/stop of out-of-spec production.
• Willing to fill in as Packaging Technician when needed to complete orders.
