Job summary

Amcor Rigid Packaging is seeking a Machine Operator to perform repetitive production and packing operations for mass-producing plastic bottles. You will operate and monitor lines, ensure product quality, and assist with various stations to maintain continuous flow.

Responsibilities include adhering to HACCP and GMP guidelines, wearing PPE, and contributing to a safe, clean production area while attending monthly shift meetings and training sessions as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or at least one year manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production and packing lines.
• Randomly check product quality hourly to meet specifications.
• Tend machines to maintain product flow and adjust as needed.
• Work at different stations and lines as required by production needs.
• Follow safety, HACCP/GMP, and housekeeping practices.
